Storage fees include all straws or breedings stored from an individual dog, regardless of number.
Storage fees are billed annually.
Storage at other companies or clinics can be facilitated, with arrangement. *Fees may apply.
Semen Shipping Services
Semen shipment options include hand delivery as well as traditional dry-shipper shipment using a major carrier. For both methods, at least 1 week is required to prepare shipping containers and organize your shipment. If the clinic using your semen has temporary storage available, movement of semen is advised before the bitch to be bred comes in season.
Hand delivery by a GCR employee is available for participating clinics in Oklahoma and North Texas who have an on-site tank available for transfer the day of delivery. The same dry shipper (transport tank) is charged and used for transport of the semen to the clinic who will be performing the insemination, but this option eliminates the 3rd party shipping company involvement for local clients. Most clinics using frozen semen regularly will have a tank for temporary holding prior to frozen semen use, so the semen may be transferred ahead of time.
Hand delivery is available once a week for Tulsa and Oklahoma City area clinics, and every two weeks for Dallas/Ft Worth metro clinics. Please contact us for arrangements if you are interested in arranging movement of your semen for use. Hand delivery will be a more cost effective option if your semen happens to be used in our geographic area.
It is recommended to contact our office to arrange for a delivery at least 1 week before need of use. Emergency arrangements may be available, but additional fees may apply.
