Dr. Andrea Hesser DVM, DACT
Dr. Andrea Hesser is the Veterinary Director of Genesis Canine Reproduction. She is a proud graduate of Oklahoma State University, having completed a bachelors degree in 2010 and later became a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. After graduation, she worked in a busy small animal practice in Kansas, which helped to further develop her interests in canine reproductive medicine and surgery. After this, she went to California, where she completed a residency in Companion Animal Theriogenology (reproduction) at UC Davis. Since this time, she has practiced actively in canine reproductive practice in Oklahoma and north Texas. She is an active member of both the Society for Theriogenology and a diplomate of the American College of Theriogenology.
Dr. Hesser has extensive expertise in canine semen analysis and freezing, having been involved in cutting-edge research on the topic, as well as spoken nationally and internationally at veterinary conferences. She has been freezing semen for her local community and performing frozen semen breedings for owners since 2013. She strongly feels that the use of the semen frozen by some other facilities has fueled her interest and passion in producing the highest quality and honest frozen semen product possible, in order to honor the dogs which have been stored and give them the greatest chances for producing beautiful, talented offspring.

Donna Bennett
Donna Bennett serves as Head Technician for Genesis Canine Reproduction and coordinates all semen transport and movement. She has been actively involved in exhibiting and breeding AKC dogs since 1994. Donna and her husband, Mike, currently breed Whippets under the Liberty prefix. While they no longer breed Akitas, the breed remains especially close to their hearts.
Their dogs compete across a wide range of venues—including conformation, dock diving, lure coursing, obedience, agility, and more—reflecting their commitment to producing versatile, well-rounded dogs capable of excelling in any arena.
Donna has known Dr. Hesser since before her veterinary school days, and the opportunity to work alongside her was one she eagerly embraced. With the heart of a breeder, Donna understands the lasting value of frozen semen and the importance of preserving the past while planning for the future—an aspect of canine reproduction that continues to inspire her work.
